A better life for sensitive skin

A unique composition, naturally rich in antioxidant Selenium

Eau Splash
La Roche-Posay thermal spring water is a unique water. It is derived from rain water that filters through thick chalky rocks, which are natural Selenium reserves, as well as deep water about 1,700 years old that flows through the deep sands of the Cenomanian period. Its rarity is due to its exceptional Selenium content. This trace element is involved in the skin’s essential defence mechanisms against free radicals, responsible for a number of disorders.

What makes La Roche-Posay thermal spring water remarkable is the stability of its components, essentially minerals that respect the skin's physiological balance. Very pure, it has an almost neutral pH. Protected against all pollution from its emergence to the thermal points of use, it undergoes no processing. All of its components remain intact and its properties unchanged.

Dermatological properties demonstrated by clinical trials.

The La Roche-Posay Dermatological Laboratory has played a big role in better understanding the dermatological virtues of La Roche-Posay thermal spring water, through rigorous, high-quality scientific research carried out in vitro and in vivo in collaboration with independent medical teams in France and abroad.

This research has been published in leading international dermatology journals: Skin Pharmacology, European Journal of Dermatology, Archives of Dermatological Research, British Journal of Dermatology, Les Nouvelles Dermatologiques, etc...

Among other things, they reveal its various effects :
  • antioxidant and protective
  • soothing
  • anti-irritant
  • decongestant
